How We Choose Ideas
We choose ideas that are practical, beautiful, and useful for real couples planning a real wedding. We look for ideas that can be adapted to different styles, venues, seasons, and budgets, and we favour ideas that are clear enough for a reader to try without specialist help.
We focus on wedding décor, food, hairstyles, outfits, planning, invitations, cakes, gifts, and themes. We do not publish an idea simply because it is popular or looks good in a photograph — it also has to make sense in practice.

Every post on Marriage Incoming is reviewed and fact-checked by Ethan & Sophia before it is published. We check the idea itself, the details that matter — such as quantities, timing, costs, and practical steps — and whether the advice is still current and realistic.
We draw on ideas we have researched and tested while planning weddings, including our own wedding. If we are unsure about a detail, we check it again, simplify the advice, or leave that detail out rather than guess.
